American jazz singer Lundy to perform in Istanbul

ISTANBUL (A.A) - January 17, 2012 - American jazz singer Carmen Lundy will give concerts in Istanbul. "Queen of Jazz" Lundy will give two concerts at Akbank Art hall on January 24 and 25. Lundy and her band will also attend a workshop at Akbank Art on January 26. Born in 1954, Lundy is an American jazz singer, composer, songwriter, actress and painter. She has been performing for three decades, with a focus on original material. She has been positively compared with Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan.
