ANGKASA Programme To Discuss Importance Of Social Media

KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 (Bernama) -- Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (National Cooperative Movement of Malaysia Berhad - Angkasa), will organise a programme titled 'From a Click to a Movement: How Social Media is Changing Your Organisation and the World' on May 12 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) here. The programme, to be held with the cooperation of the Cooperatives Commission of Malaysia, would discuss, among other things, the importance of the social media in the development of the business activities of an organisation. Angkasa said in a statement on Tuesday that the programme would be handled by Sam Graham Felsen, former chief editor of United States President Barack Obama's blog. "Sam Graham Felsen was the individual responsible for developing the most successful election campaign in history using the social media," said Angkasa, which is the patron for more than 8,000 cooperatives with more than seven million members. -- BERNAMA
