Arab League backs Bahrain

Cairo, June 20 (BNA): Arab League Secretary-General Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi expressed support to the Kingdom of Bahrain, backing judicial steps to regulate the work of social and non-governmental organizations. In a statement today, he affirmed support to the measures which, he said, comply with national laws and legislations and aim to maintain Bahrain’s security and stability and protect national unity. Dr. Arabi affirmed the support of the Arab League to the reform project led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and rejection of any blatant external interference in Bahrain’s internal affairs.
