Arab League chief condemns Karbabad terror attack

Cairo, Apr. 17 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Arab League Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi has strongly condemned the terror attack that targeted a Bahraini police patrol by Molotov cocktails in Karbabad, killing a policeman and wounding two others. Attacks on security bodies while they are assuming their duty of securing streets and protecting the citizens is a terror act, he said, reiterating the Arab League's support to all efforts taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to combat terror organisation which, he said, are seeking to subvert security and stability and intimidate secure citizens. Al-Arabi offered profound condolences and consolidation to the relatives of the fallen policeman and Bahrain's leadership, government and people, wishing the wounded quick recovery.
