Arab media development role stressed

Cairo, Mar. 10 (BNA): Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi met today his Kuwaiti counterpart Mohammed Nasser Al-Jabri and Chairman of Egypt’s Supreme Media Regulation Council Makram Mohammed Ahmed, on the sidelines of his participation in the 7th Arab Youth Media Forum, in Cairo. He stressed Bahrain’s keenness, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, to boost pan-Arab Work, mainly in the media field, and enhance the role of the media in backing sustainable development. Al Romaihi reviewed plans and programmes to develop the Arab audio-visual and electronic media and promote its pivotal role in protecting national security, serving Arab issues and achieving sustainable development goals.
