Arab Parliaments Speakers Conference success praised

Cairo, Feb. 25 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh sent a cable of thanks to Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al Arabi after his participation in the Arab Parliaments Speakers Conference which was organised by the Arab Parliament in cooperation with the Arab League Secretariat General. The Shura Council Chairman thanked the Arab League Secretary General for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to the Bahraini Shura Council delegation, commending the positive outcome of the conference in boosting cooperation between the Arab legislative councils. The Shura Council Chairman also sent a similar cable to Arab Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Jarwan and praised the dedicated and strenuous efforts of the Arab Parliament staff to ensure success of the conference in spotlighting challenges, mapping out anti-terrorism policies and bolstering sustainable development.
