Artificial Skin-making Technology Established in DPRK

Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- The Bioengineering Branch of the State Academy of Sciences in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has established an artificial skin-making technology. Its resea-rch group succeeded in making artificial skin through combination of cell-free derma and adipose stem cell which are being used in the field of biomedicine and histo-engineering. This artificial skin's effectiveness of graft and specificity were proved in a scientific way through clinical examinations at hospitals. It is low in manufacturing cost and gives no side effect to human body. It is efficacious for intractable skin wounds and burns. -0
