ASPnet-Bahrain's achievements highlighted

Abu Dhabi, Nov. 10 (BNA): Secretary General of the Bahrain National Commission for UNESCO, and the coordinator of the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet-Bahrain), Dr. Lubna Khalifa Suleibeekh, participated in the first UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network Forum, hosted by the UAE. Dr. Sulaibeekh gave a presentation in which she highlighted Bahrain’s experience in implementing ASPnet, including the best practices and the achievements of those schools, as well as the praise of former UNESCO Director-General, Irina Bokova. The forum aims to present the strategic plan of ASPnet-UAE, and highlight its vision, goals and main achievements. It also aims to provide a platform for UNESCO-associated schools to highlight their best practices that are related to UNECO’s goals, including sustainable development, happiness, tolerance and global citizenship.
