Assistant foreign minister meets French Senate delegation

Manama, Nov. 26 (BNA): Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri, met at the Ministry’s General Court today, a delegation from the Senate of the French Republic headed by Senator Jean-Marie Bockel. The Assistant Foreign Minister praised the distinguished relations of friendship and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the French Republic and the progress of these relations in various fields, affirming the importance of strengthening these ties to serve the common interests of the two countries and the two friendly peoples. The head of the French delegation praised the distinguished relations of his country with the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirming the need to strengthen these relations, especially in parliamentary affairs between the two friendly countries. He praised the role of the Kingdom of Bahrain in promoting international peace and security in the region. The meeting also discussed regional and international developments and a number of issues of mutual interest.
