Assistant Foreign Minister receives NCC chief executive

Manama, Sept. 3 (BNA): Assistant Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri today received CEO of the National Communication Centre, Ahmed Mohammed Al Mannai. The assistant Foreign Minister welcomed the CEO of NCC, congratulating him on his new post appointed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, wishing him success in his duties. The assistant Foreign Minister commended the constructive role played by NCC in unifying and highlighting government media discourse locally and externally. He pointed out that this comes as a result of utilizing traditional and digital media as well as local, regional and international communication channels, affirming the importance of expanding joint cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NCC to further the communication sector and foreign media, contributing to global communication and publishing local news and reports related to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The assistant minister highlighted the level of cooperation between the NCC and the various institutions and entities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that this cooperation facilitates creating and forming a clear-cut media image on the most prominent projects, actions and issues, through coordination between government agencies and media institutions at the internal and external levels, which are represented by news agencies and newspapers in line with the Kingdom's policies. The CEO of NCC expressed his pleasure to have met with the assistant Foreign Minister, commending the great support and cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wishing it further progress.
