Australia's Monash University delegation visits headquarters of UAE Cultural Attaché in Canberra

ABU DHABI, 9th September, 2015 (WAM) -- A Monash University delegation recently visited the headquarters of the Cultural Attaché in Canberra, and met with the UAE's Cultural Attaché to Australia and new Zealand, Ms. Rodah Al Mansoori. The delegation consisted of Dr. Nizar Bashir Farjou, Assistant Director of the Bureau for Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia Relations of the Office of the Chancellor, and Dr. Sarah Newton, Deputy Dean for External Relations at the Faculty of Medicine at the university. The delegation provided a visual presentation on the activities and future plans for the university in the UAE. The delegation also discussed possible future cooperation between the university and the UAE in the fields of education and scientific research. Al Mansoori commended the role of Monash University in scientific research, especially in the field of medicine, as well as their role in promoting relations between the university and the UAE and searching for ways to activate cultural and scientific exchanges to serve the state and Emirati graduates from all countries, Al Moansoori also discussed cooperation in scientific research.
