Baby elephant born at Ayutthaya Elephant Kraal

AYUTTHAYA, Dec 19 (TNA) – The Ayutthaya Elephant Kraal has a new member after a baby elephant was born this morning. The new-born elephant was named “Phlai Prappayak” and will be registered as the 69th elephant of the kraal with the Provincial Administration Department today. The owner of the Ayutthaya Elephant Kraal, Romthongsai Meephan said the 30 year-old Phang Dok Sano gave birth to her third calf, weighting about 70 kilogrammes. The healthy male elephant was born through natural breeding between Phang Dok Sano and the father elephant, Phlai Nga Thong. (TNA)
