BACA, EDB discuss cooperation

Manama, May 22 (BNA): President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received here today the Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Board (EDB), Khalid Al-Rumaihi. The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in order to achieve joint projects that enrich the cultural scene on the kingdom. Shaikha Mai lauded the constant cooperation between BACA and EDB, expressing thanks to Al-Rumaihi for his unwavering support for BACA’s projects. BACA president asserted that civilisational achievements are the fruitful outcome of collective efforts of many sides, noting that BACA”s cooperation with EDB has consolidated the kingdom’s image as a civilisational and human attraction centre. EDB chief expressed thanks to Shaikha Mai for her tireless efforts to enhance the local cultural movement, affirming EDB’s constant readiness to cooperate with BACA in delivering artistic, literary and intellectual activities that benefit the citizens and residents.
