BACA marks Arab Music Day, in cooperation with KHUH

Manama, Mar. 28 (BNA): The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) today marked Arab Music Day, in cooperation with the King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH). KUH Commander, Major-General Dr. Shaikh Salman bin Atiyatullah Al Khalifa, and Director-General of Culture and Arts at BACA, Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, attended the ceremony which was held at the Bahrain Oncology Centre today. The event featured Bahraini and Arabic music, as well as films about the Bahrain Oncology Centre and the Al-Fajri music. The KHUH Commander highlighted BACA’s role in enriching comprehensive social and economic development, noting that the event has filled the hearts of the Bahrain Oncology Centre patients with joy. Shaikha Hala said that through the event, BACA aims to express thanks to all health sector professionals for the sacrifices they have made for the sake of Bahrain during the spread of the novel Coronavirus pandemic. She expressed thanks to the KHUH’s management and commander for their cooperation to ensure the success of the event.
