BACA President attends international conference

Paris, Mar. 29 (BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa an international conference on the European-Mediterranean Dialogue. The key symposium was convened at the French Senate in Paris under the slogan "Role of Woman as a Mediator in the European-Mediterranean Dialogue". In a statement on the sidelines of the conference, she stressed the crucial role of culture in building bridges between people and cementing human relationship. She underlined the active role of empowered Bahraini women in society, stressing the keenness of the leadership on promoting their status, encouraging intercultural exchanges and conserving heritage in all its facets. The Arab Women Organization and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) organized the one-day conference which focused on the crucial role of women in promoting dialogue between people.
