BACA President highlights cultural development sustainability

Manama, May 19 (BNA): The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA)'s President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa led the Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation participating in the second day of the Third International Forum for Dialogue between Cultures in Baku in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Shaikha Mai participated in the "post-2015 Culture and Sustainable Development" roundtable discussion. The forum attracted culture and tourism officials from all over the world aimed at reading culture and sustainable development. The first global cultural dialogue was held in Azerbaijan in 2011 which discussed the challenges facing cultural convergence and proposed initiatives to address obstacles monitored. The second global cultural forum was held in 2013 themed "Peaceful co-existence in a diversified world" which discussed how to build a secure future through cultural convergence.
