BACA president meets Chinese envoy

Manama, May 31 (BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa received newly-appointed Chinese Ambassador to Manama An Wa’er and discussed joint cooperation. BACA chief underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation between Bahrain and China, commended the efforts exerted by the Chinese embassy in Manama to promote cultural exchanges and contribute to events in the Kingdom. The Chinese envoy stressed the vital role of culture in cementing human relations between countries in the world, stressing his country’s keenness on carrying joint projects.
