BACA President receives Turkish ambassador

Manama, Mar. 29 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received today Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Esen Çakıl, and her accompanying delegation. The visit was part of BACA’s efforts to promote cultural cooperation between both countries. Shaikha Mai affirmed strong fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Turkey, pointing out the joint cultural heritage between both sides. She discussed with the Turkish ambassador ways of enhancing bilateral relations through various cultural programmes. The Turkish ambassador expressed keenness on boosting cultural cooperation, stressing the need for more efforts to promote the cultures of both countries.
