Bahrain’s ambassador presents credentials to Bhutan’s king

Thimphu, Oct. 19 (BNA): Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck received the credentials of Ambassador Abdulrahman Mohammed Al-Gaoud as Bahrain’s Ambassador to Bhutan based in New Delhi. The ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and HH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to HM King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, wishing him continued good health and well-being and Bhutan and its people further progress and prosperity. The two sides praised the friendly relations between the two countries, expressing their aspiration to take bilateral relations to higher levels in order to meet the aspirations of the two countries and peoples. Ambassador Al Gaoud met with Bhutanese Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering, Foreign Minister Dr. Tandi Dorji, Minister of Economic Affairs Loknath Sharma, and Scretary of the Ministry of Labor and Human Resources Sonam Wangchuk.
