Bahrain’s educational strides hailed

Manama, Apr.22 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa delegated Deputy Premier His Highness Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa to attend the 27th graduation of the Ibn Khuldoon National School. The ceremony was held at the Gulf Hotel, in the presence of members of the Royal Family, state officials, students’ parents and guests. HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa conveyed congratulations from HRH the Premier to the 27th batch of graduates, wishing them every success.  "The Government, chaired by HRH the Premier, puts education on top of the priorities of the Government Action Plan(GAP)", he said, stressing the crucial importance of education as the cornerstone of social progress and sustainable development.  He hailed Bahrain’s landmark strides on educational indicators, stressing the importance of encouraging investment in education to boost the development of human resources and optimize their contribution to economic and social development. HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa commended the efforts of the Ibn Khuldoon National School in promoting creative learning and keeping abreast of modern technologies – yielding generations of outstanding graduates.  He congratulated the graduates who are on the threshold of a new phase which would enable them to contribute to their country’s march of progress and development, led by His Majesty the King. Board of Trustees member Sattam Sulaiman Al-Gosaibi delivered a speech extending deepest thanks to HRH the Premier for patronizing the 27th graduation ceremony and supporting educational development.  He hailed the Premier’s support to the Ibn Khuldoon National School since its establishment in 1983, which represents a catalyst to exert more efforts on the path of progress and excellence. He expressed thanks to HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, deputy patron of the graduation ceremony, hailing his continuous support to the school.  He commended the graduates who make up a major bulk of the outstanding human resources and national competences, holding top positions in different government enterprises and the private sector. Al-Gosaibi announced that the Ibn Khuldoon National School would start in summer constructing new buildings for the kindergarten and primary sections. Chief Executive Officer of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa also addressed the ceremony and wished the graduates every success. Student’s Council chairperson Alia Daij Bouajala delivered a speech on behalf of students, extending deepest thanks to HRH the Premier. Certificates were then distributed to 108 graduates.
