Bahrain Ambassador attends annual event hosted by King of Netherlands

Amsterdam, June 24 (BNA): Bahrain’s Non-Resident Ambassador to The Netherlands Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa attended the annual diplomatic dinner hosted by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima and attended by diplomats and senior state and local officials. In his speech, King Willem-Alexander highlighted the importance of face-to-face contact in creating bridges between different positions and ideas and expressed happiness with the gradual return to normal life after COVID-19. He praised the efforts of the diplomatic corps in facing the economic, social and health challenges caused by the pandemic. In his cordial conversation with senior government officials and guests, Shaikh Fawaz stressed Bahrain's keenness to strengthen cooperation and exchange experiences with their countries. He also voiced the kingdom’s support to the efforts aimed at consolidating security, peace and sustainable development.
