Bahrain-Argentina parliamentary cooperation discussed

Manama, Oct. 3 (BNA): First Deputy Speaker of the Representatives Council Abdulnabi Salman received Argentinian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Marcelo Gilardoni and Head of the Bahrain-Argentina Friendship Committee Diego Matias. He stressed the council's keenness to build a distinguished partnership with Argentina through promoting the joint parliamentary friendship committees and using them in upgrading legislative and parliamentary work. The First Deputy Speaker took pride in strong and long-standing historical relations between Bahrain and Argentina which are based on mutual desire to serve common interests and foster international peace and security. Discussions also focused on the importance to motivate businessmen and representatives of the private sector to explore investment opportunities in Bahrain.
