Bahrain-China ties discussed

Manama, Aug. 24 (BNA): Governor of the Capital Governorate Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa received the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Qi Zhenhong, wishing him success in his diplomatic mission. The governor praised the historic strategic bilateral ties, citing the exchange of official visits and the advanced level of coordination and cooperation in all fields. The ambassador affirmed the keenness of his country's government on developing its relations with the Government of Bahrain. He praised the level of progress and prosperity in the Kingdom of Bahrain under its wise leadership. The two sides discussed the anticipated visit of a Chinese delegation led by Shenzhen City mayor Xu Quin, to the Kingdom of Bahrain in September, to open new vistas of cooperation and coordination that serve the shared interest of both countries in general, and the two cities in particular.
