Bahrain condemns the attack in Belgium

Manama, May 30 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Ministry condemns the armed attack that targeted policemen in Liège, Belgium, which resulted in the death of two police officers and another civilian. The ministry expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the victims of this terrorist act that targeted innocent lives. The ministry affirms Bahrain’s solidarity with Belgium in its efforts to address all forms of violence and terrorism and to support its measures to consolidate security and peace, stressing the position of the Kingdom, which strongly opposes violence, extremism and terrorism in all its forms, restating the need to strengthen international cooperation at all levels in order to eliminate this dangerous phenomenon that threatens international peace and security.
