Bahrain condemns Douma chemical attack

Manama, Apr.8 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned the heinous chemical attack on the city of Douma in the eastern Ghouta of Syria, which claimed the lives of dozens of innocent civilians, including women and children. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed in a statement the need to speed up efforts to protect civilians throughout the Syrian territory and to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis based on the principles of the Geneva Declaration (1) and UN Security Council Resolution 2254, thus guaranteeing Syria's sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
