Bahrain condemns extremist settlers storming Al Aqsa Mosque

Manama, Aug 15 (BNA): The Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemns the storming of hundreds of extremist settlers of Al Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli police and Special Forces, expressing its strong indignation of the storming of the Israeli occupation police of the Al Aqsa Mosque. It stated that what is taking place reflects a clear determination to violate religious sanctities, and is a flagrant defiance of the feelings of Muslims all over the world, as well as a flagrant violation of international laws and norms. While the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns that the continuation of these attacks on religious sites would destroy efforts to resume the peace process and the development of a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, it emphasizes the need for Israel to respect the will of the Palestinian people and their commitment to international resolutions, and immediately stop all settlement activity. It renews the firm position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in support of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and establishing their independent state based on the borders of the 4th of June, 1967, with Al Quds as its capital.
