Bahrain condemns Libya bombing

Manama, May 2 (BNA): Bahrain has condemns the terrorist bombing that targeted the High National Elections Commission in the Libyan capital Tripoli that resulted in the death and injury of a number of innocent people. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and its wishes of speedy recovery to all those injured in this terrorist act. The ministry reaffirmed in a statement Bahrain’s support to the efforts aimed at preserving Libya's territorial integrity and unity and fulfilling the aspirations of the Libyans for development, security, stability. It also reiterated Bahrain's firm position that rejects violence, extremism and terrorism and stresses the need of the international community to reinforce coordination at all levels to ensure the elimination of terrorism and the achievement of security and stability across the world.
