Bahrain condemns Mogadishu terrorist attack

Manama, Aug. 31 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist attack which took place in front of the Presidential Palace in Somalia's capital Mogadishu, killing and injuring tens of people. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered “sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes of speedy recovery to those injured in the terrorist attack that is alien to all religions and contravenes all humanitarian and moral values.” “The ministry affirms the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the brotherly Federal Republic of Somalia and its support for all the measures it takes to confront violence, extremism and terrorism, to reinforce peace and security and to rebuild the state institutions," the statement said. “The ministry reiterates the unflinching stance of the Kingdom of Bahrain in rejecting terrorism in all forms and manifestations and regardless of the motives or its perpetrators, and renews its support of all the efforts being internationally exerted to eliminate this dangerous phenomenon worldwide."
