Bahrain condemns terror bombing in Iraq

Manama, July 3 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that took place in Baghdad’s Karrada district that claimed lives and injured several people. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that it affirms the solidarity of Bahrain with Iraq in confronting violence and terrorism, exerting efforts to establish security and stability in all parts of Iraq and maintaining its sovereignty and territorial integrity. "The ministry extends its sincere condolences and sympathies to the relatives and families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to all those injured in this terrorist act that has nothing to do with religion and is contrary to all moral and humanitarian values," the statement said. "The ministry affirms the need for concerted regional and international efforts to eliminate the phenomenon of terrorism of all forms and sorts, regardless of the motives or justifications, in order eradicate its causes and rid the world of its dangers."
