Bahrain condemns terrorist attack in Tunisia

Manama, July 8 (BNA): Bahrain has denounced the terrorist attack that targeted a patrol of the National Guard in Jendouba, Tunisia, which resulted in the death of a number of security officers. In a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said that it «expresses deep condolences to the families of the officers who lost their lives in this terrorist act that contradicts all religious, moral and humanitarian principles.» «The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the solidarity and support of Kingdom of Bahrain to the measures taken by the Republic of Tunisia to combat terrorism and protect its security and stability. It also reiterates the firm position of the Kingdom of Bahrain that rejects all acts of violence, extremism and terrorism in all their forms and regardless of their motives, and calls for concerted efforts to ensure their elimination,» the statement added.
