Bahrain condemns terrorist attacks in Brussels

Manama, Mar. 22 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the terrorist attacks, which targeted the airport and a metro station in Brussels, Belgium, and resulted in killing and injuring scores of innocent individuals. "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the Kingdom of Belgium, in facing violence, extremism and terrorism whatever its source or motivation," the ministry said in a statement. "It expresses its sincere condolences and sympathies to the families and relatives of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to all the injured in these treacherous terrorist acts that contravene religion principles and all ethic and human values. "While the ministry affirms that terrorism is threating and undermining the security and stability as well as impeding to development efforts across the globe, it calls for concerted international community efforts to root out the scourge of terrorism in all its forms and manifestation to ensure the elimination and eradication of all terrorism and extremism groups and ultimately dry out the sources of terrorism wherever it may be."
