Bahrain Dental Conference, Exhibition kick off

Manama, Nov. 14 (BNA): Fourth Bahrain Dental Conference and Exhibition "DLS4 Bahrain" kicked off today morning under the patronage of Lieutenant General Doctor Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Health. Organised by the BDA Centre for Medical and Scientific Events, the conference takes place from 14 to 16 November at the Art Rotana Hotel. "DLS4 Bahrain" attracted more than 1000 participants from Bahrain, the GCC countries and different countries worldwide. The conference includes 12 workshops. Dr. Mariam Al-Jalahma, Chairperson of the National Health Regulatory Authority, stressed the importance of "DLS4 Bahrain" conference in introducing the best and latest practices in the field of dentistry and other related fields. "DLS4 Bahrain has become an important platform to meet experts, doctors, professionals, academics and students in order to share knowledge and exchange experiences". Dr. Al-Jalahma explained. Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al Manea, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health said that DLS4 Bahrain is a good access to the latest studies, research, methods and techniques in dentistry". Dr. Al Manea expected that the conference will come up with recommendations that contribute to the further development of dentistry in Bahrain and the region. "Dls4 Bahrain 2019" is strategically partnered with the Ministry of Health, the National Health Regulatory Authority, the Kuwait Dental Society, STYLE ITALIANO Group and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). It comes together with a scientific partnership with Riyadh Elm University in Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with the Saudi Dental Society, while the pioneer company in Clear Aligners braces (Invisalign) offers the Conference Diamond sponsorship. "Dls4 Bahrain 2019" hours were licensed and approved by the National Health Regulatory Authority, as well as the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. The agenda of the conference was divided into specialised sessions aimed at dentists in general and the specialists of them at the same time, besides practical sessions to enrich the scientific programme. Also, a practical day was allocated for dental technicians and another for prosthodontist, while a corner was allocated in the exhibition to show more than 20 research stickers and advertisements. Moreover, a special exhibition holds on the sidelines of the conference in the presence of about 20 local, regional and international companies that offer related services and products.
