Bahrain, Egypt renewable energy cooperation discussed

Manama, Jan.22 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza met ministers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states and other friendly countries, on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) in the United Arab Emirates. Dr. Mirza held a key meeting with Egyptian Electricity and Renewable Energy Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaker El-Markabi and discussed joint cooperation to develop solar energy. The two sides agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding.
