Bahrain - EU cooperation reviewed

Manama, Jan. 31 (BNA): Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Dosari met Head of the EU Delegation Michele Cervone, and his accompanying delegation, who arrived on a visit to Bahrain.He praised the continuous cooperation and coordination between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union, which contributes to enhancing the relations between the two friendly parties to achieve their common goals and interests.  Al Dosari stressed the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Bahrain to combat the phenomenon of terrorism, affirming the Kingdom's commitment to support all regional and international efforts to confront this phenomenon, which threatens the safety and stability of the region, and to cooperate with international partners including the European Union to reduce its dissemination by strengthening efforts to eliminate the sources of terrorism and its funding, address extremist thought, and affirm the achievement and dissemination of world peace.  The Assistant Foreign Minister briefed the visiting delegation on the most important achievements in the field of promotion and protection of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Head of the EU Delegation praised the constructive cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union in various fields, affirming that enhancing this cooperation will enhance the level of bilateral joint work of the two friendly parties, noting the great efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in achieving international peace and security in the region and the world.
