Bahrain-EU economic cooperation discussed

Manama, Mar. 3 (BNA): Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, today received Head of EU Delegation, Ambassador Michele Cervone d'Urso, and discussed broadening cooperation and boosting existing joint partnerships between the two sides under Bahrain's economic openness and the availability of investment opportunities suitable for starting new partnerships in various fields. The Finance Minister highlighted the economic achievements made under the comprehensive development march led by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the efforts of the government chaired by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the support of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. He stressed Bahrain’s determination to continue bringing more advancement and growth to its people. Ways to strengthen Bahrain-EU economic, financial and trade cooperation and the exchange of expertise were discussed, in addition the development of financial and business market and issues related to global economy.
