Bahrain to host 4th Arab Giving Forum

Manama, Apr 19 (BNA): Arab Society for Social Responsibility Chairman Sultan bin Abdulrahman stated that Bahrain will host the fourth Arab Giving Forum "Zayed Giving Initiative" on 24-25 of current April. Abdulrahman said that the forum will focus on three themes, sustainability, social responsibility and voluntary work . He said that holding the event in Bahrain highlights its leading role in promoting voluntary work and values of social responsibility in Arab region. He added the two-day forum will attract an elite group of Arab experts in various areas of volunteering, including Secretary General of the Royal Charity Organization, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, Khalid Al-Hazimi of Saudi Aramco, Omar Ahmed Oshari of Sudan. Chairperson of Al-Ghad Association, Princess Nouf bint Faisal bin Turki, will participate as a keynote speaker. He noted that the forum is a good opportunity to learn about the latest international developments in the area of social responsibility and giving, dissemination of the culture of volunteering and giving among community members, as well as to stimulate the private sector to take part in the volunteering march to contribute to the implementation of community programmes aimed at uplifting level of services provided for citizens and residents.
