Bahrain to host GCU headquarters

Manama, June 16 (BNA): Bahrain Society of Chemists Chairman, Dr. Abdulwahid Al-Nakal, has extended thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for his support for Gulf Chemists Union (GCU), and approval of the kingdom’s hosting of its permanent headquarters. He pointed out that the Cabinet had endorsed the registration of the GCU in Bahrain during its regular weekly session on May 14, commending the role played by the Foreign Affairs Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa in this regard. He announced that Bahrain will assume GCU presidency during its next session, noting that the Bahrain Society of Chemists will host, on June 19, the Third GCU periodic meeting in which a new secretariat-general will be elected.
