Bahrain to host international conference on project management

Manama, Oct. 16 (BNA): The 2016 Bahrain International Conference on Project Management will be held on November 1-30 in cooperation with Tamkeen and Batelco. Director of Operations, Information Technology and Project Management Department of Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), Ahmed Nuaimi, said that the conference is the first of its kind in the region and will highlight the development of training and rehabilitation in project management. Thirty workshops will be presented by foreign specialists in the field of project management to target all trade sectors, he said, adding many topics will be addressed, including basics of project management, project management meetings, projects practical structure, women in project management and small projects tools. The conference aims at boosting the knowledge of human resources in project management planning, cost management, increasing profits, budget preparation and enhancing comprehensive quality under current economic situations. The participants will also be introduced to trade operation challenges and successful opportunities and means to exploit them to be an active weapon to confront daily challenges.
