Bahrain-India security cooperation discussed

Manama, Mar. 28 (BNA): Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, praised the strategic security partnership with India. He also lauded the common historical and civilizational denominators between both countries in fostering democracy, promoting tolerance and coexistence and renouncing the discourse of extremism and hatred. He was speaking during a meeting with Indian Deputy National Security Advisor, Vikram Misri. They discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in the security field, exchanging experiences and activating memoranda of understanding signed by both countries in combating international terrorism and organised crimes.
