Bahrain-Iraq ties affirmed

Manama, Oct. 25 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has affirmed the strong fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq, and the firm desire to further develop these relations at all levels to serve the common interests of both countries and their people. This came during a meeting with the Ambassador of Iraq to Bahrain, Dr. Ahmed Nayef Rasheed Al-Dulaimi, on the occasion of the end of his term in the Kingdom. The minister praised the outstanding efforts exerted by Dr. Al-Dulaimi during his tenure in the Kingdom to enhance the relations between the two countries, wishing him further success. For his part, Dr. Al-Dulaimi expressed the sincere appreciation of the Republic of Iraq for the supportive stances of the Kingdom of Bahrain to its security and stability. He expressed his pride in the Bahraini-Iraqi outstanding relations, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
