Bahrain-Japan relations discussed

Manama, May 21 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received the newly appointed Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain, Hideki Ito. The minister wished him success in his diplomatic duties, and reviewed bilateral relations between Bahrain and Japan and ways to strengthen cooperation mechanisms in all fields, especially the relevant fields of employment and social welfare. Humaidan praised the industrial and scientific progress that characterises Japan. He also briefed the ambassador on the most important projects and initiatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development in the fields of labor and development, stressing the importance of enhancing technical cooperation and benefiting from the experiences in both countries. The ambassador praised the advanced level witnessed by Bahrain in many fields, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
