Bahrain leadership congratulated on oil field discovery

Manama, Apr. 2 (BNA): Member of the Representatives Council and Deputy Speaker of the Arab Parliament Adel Al Asoumi extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Premier and Chairman of the High Committee for Natural Resources and Economic Security, on the discovery of the biggest ever oil field in the history of Bahrain. Al Asoumi lauded the royal directives which always contribute to fast-tracking development in various fields, stressing that HM the King possesses a farsighted vision for the future as his directives to give priority to oil exploration to increase Bahrain's revenues have yielded positive results. He also praised the efforts of the Chairman and members of the High Committee for Natural Resources and Economic Security in mapping out detailed plans for the exploration by dedicating the resources of the national oil companies for that. He pointed out that the newly-discovered field of tight oil and gas will further contribute to backing the kingdom's economic security.
