Bahrain participates in human rights conference

Manama, June 5 (BNA): MP Abdulrahman Bu-Majeed has participated in a conference on Arab human rights mechanisms and promotion of Arab national security. The Arab Parliament staged the conference in collaboration with the Arab Federation for Human Rights. It was hosted by Arab League in Cairo. MP Bu-Majeed pointed the completion of the implementation of the recommendations of Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry, which asserts Bahrain's efforts in promoting and protecting human rights values in the prosperous era of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also noted the legislations issued to keep pace with human rights international conventions. The conference stressed the importance of Arab national security and the establishment of partnerships between governmental and non-governmental organizations for the protection of the Arab nation's security and stability.
