Bahrain regrets Afghanistan’s decision to ban women from higher education

Manama, Dec. 22 (BNA): Bahrain expressed deep concern and regret over the decision of the caretaker government in Afghanistan to deny women their right to university education. The Foreign Affairs Ministry called on the Afghan government to review this decision in accordance with the principles of human rights, and to meet the aspirations of the Afghan people for security, stability, progress and sustainable development.
