Bahrain reiterates unequivocal support to Saudi Arabia

Manama, Aug. 26 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned Iranian-backed Houthi militia ballistic missile attacks towards Jizan city in Saudi Arabia "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemns and denounces the firing of several ballistic missiles by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias towards the city of Jizan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in what is considered a reoccurring terrorist attack targeting civilians and security officers," said the ministry in its statement. The ministry commended the Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen forces for its efforts in countering such terrorist attacks, reiterating its unequivocal position in supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s actions taken to combat terrorism regionally and internationally, as well as against all those seeking to undermine its security and stability. It also stressed the need for the international community to take deterrent measures against Houthi militias and all terrorist organizations supporting or funding them in order to maintain international peace and security.
