Bahrain-Saudi historic relations hailed

Manama, May 2 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi hailed deep-rooted historic and fraternal relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, lauding kinship ties and bonds of religion, language and common destiny. He made the statement during a lunch banquet he hosted in honour of the Saudi media delegation, marking the selection of the Saudi media as Guest of Honour of the Prince Khalifa bin Salman Press Award. Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa attended. Al-Romaihi hailed the selection of the Saudi media as Guest of Honour of the Prince Khalifa bin Salman Press Award for the first time since its inception three years ago. He paid tribute to Saudi Arabia for its standing in the Arab and Islamic worlds, influential status in the Arab press and media and honourable political and security stances. He commended the pivotal role played by Saudi Arabia in consolidating joint Arab work and Islamic solidarity, as well as its unflinching support to Bahrain’s security, stability and development.
