Bahrain-Saudi ties praised

Manama, Apr. 9 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, has praised the strong fraternal ties in all the various fields binding Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in harmony with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. HH Shaikh Nasser said: "These relations binding the two sisterly kingdom’s include the mutual cooperation in the field of youth and sports as clearly manifested in Bahrain’s hosting the "Misk Tales" programme aimed to enhance youth ideas and create content that encourages youth creativity and excellence and expressive of novel ideas in various fields." HH Shaikh Nasser praised the tremendous efforts undertaken by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and his great heed to developing youth skills and concepts in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states in the various fields which will reflect on real grounds th rough his pioneering innovative initiatives at the level of the region that gave youth ample opportunity to express their ideas and creativity via interactive stories and to create modern content. HH Shaikh Nasser’s statement came on the occasion of Bahrain’s Youth and Sports Affairs Ministry’s hosting Misk Tales in collaboration with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event comprises key activities, including "writing studio", "drawing studio", "animation lab", ‘production studio’, "junior author", "digital tales", "media tales", "tales mart", "tales factory", and "murabiteen tales." HH Shaikh Nasser explained that the partnership between the Ministry of Youth and Sporsts and the Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Charity Foundation - "Misk Charity" - reflects a distinctive form of fruitful cooperation. This will contribute in supporting the Bahraini youth in the search trip for activities which will strengthen their skills and capabilities in the fields of storytelling, book authoring in a modern style in pace with the current progress in the art and science of storytelling, and using digital technologies to convey the concept more easily and to imbue the youth with the skills and expertise through communication and interaction with the relevant experts. HH Shaikh Nasser added that "Misk Tales" is one of the leading Saudi events at the Arab level which has clear indications affirming the sisterly kingdom’s concern with development of youth skills across key programmes that attract youth to unleash their potential energies. HH Shaikh Nasser urged the Bahraini youth to avail of this excellent event that strives to host artistically innovative youth and grant them the suitable opportunity for development.
