Bahrain strongly condemns terrorist attack in Iraq

Manama, Oct. 22 (BNA): Bahrain strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted two checkpoints in Salah Al-Din province in Iraq, killing two soldiers and wounding others. "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain expresses deep condolences and sympathy to the families and relatives of the victims and wishes speedy recovery to all those injured in this terrorist act," said the ministry in a statement. The ministry affirmed Bahrain's solidarity with the sisterly Republic of Iraq in its efforts to combat terrorism and reiterated Bahrain's firm position in rejection of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, calling for concerted international efforts to eliminate this dangerous phenomenon.
