Bahrain takes part in GCC defence ministers' meeting

Riyadh, Nov. 8 (BNA): Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, led the kingdom's delegation to the meeting of the defence ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), within the 19th session of the Joint Defence Council, held here today. The meeting discussed a number of topics aimed at activating joint military cooperation, as well as following up on all matters that would enhance defence cooperation among GCC countries' armed forces and strengthen cohesion and joint fraternal coordination, in addition to continuing to unify all efforts to support the security and stability of the region. Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, Major-General Ghanim Ibrahim Al-Fadhala, also attended the meeting.
