Bahrain, Tatarstan discuss enhancing Islamic cooperation

Manama, June 2 (BNA): Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs Dr. Farid bin Yacoub Al-Miftah, has received Chairman of Muslims Religious Board, Grand Mufti of the Republic of Tatarstan, mufti Kamil Samiallah bin Iskander, and the accompanying delegation. Ways to boost cooperation and the exchange of expertise, mainly in justice and Islamic affairs, were discussed, as well as hosting distinguished Quran reciters and Muslim preachers to participate in the ministry's activities. The meeting comes following the undersecretary's visit to Kazan to attend the celebration of embrace Islam anniversary held in Kazan on 19-22 May 2016.
